Sunset Country Métis Council recognizes the importance of harvesting to the Métis way of life – especially in our Region. Our goal is to encourage primarily Métis youth (ages 12+) to participate in this opportunity so they can understand the natural world and become knowledgeable and responsible hunters. The full program will teach participants everything from ecosystems and wildlife management to firing techniques and procedures.
